Project 1
Studied the economics of power production cost for various renewable energy sources like wind, solar, hydro and round the clock power production.
- Prepared financial model for each power generation model
- Worked on key financial concepts like IRR, NPV and DCF
- Learnt basics of P&L statement, Cash flows, FCFE and FCFF
- Studied evolving Renewable energy production models like Solr/wind hybrid, Pump storage and RTC (Round the Clock)
Project 2
Prepared a viability analysis for solar rooftop installation at my housing complex Prepared financial model for each power generation model.
- Energy consumption analysis
- Estimate of the maximum capacity of rooftop plant possible and projected cost of the same
- Prepared a financial model estimating the cash flows and potential savings
- Analyses key concepts like payback period, project IRR and return on investment
